Explore the Small Benefit Exemption
Under Revenue's Small Benefit Exemption, Irish employers can provide up to five qualifying non-cash benefits per employee each year, with a combined value of up to €1,500.
Gift vouchers may qualify where Revenue's conditions are met. Your HR or finance team should confirm eligibility, including the voucher terms and any benefits already provided during the year.
Employers remain responsible for Enhanced Reporting Requirements, including reporting each benefit's date and value to Revenue on or before it is provided to the employee. An itemised invoice supports your purchasing records but does not replace this reporting.
