Linda McClean is a food scientist turned gourmet marshmallow maker from beautiful Donegal. After years living and working abroad, she moved back to Ireland and grabbed the chance to fuse her passions and start her own business.
Mallow Mia marshmallows are handmade which adds to their authentic taste and flavour. Not your regular marshmallows the range spreads from raspberry swirl to Madagascan vanilla, with Toasted salted caramel being Linda’s star choice. In her words her products are a “fluffy, light as a feather, bursts of flavour.” As fresh confectionery they have less sugar than regular marshmallows & are naturally gluten free.
For those looking for something a little extra the Mallow Mia toasting kit is the perfect level up. It comes with two treat bags of marshmallows and a tabletop burner which contains non-toxic chafing gel.
Fun Fact: In a previous role Linda developed alcopops and energy drinks in Germany.
